2024 AgroInsurance International Conference will take place on June 3-5, 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Andre Veneziani from Planet Labs will make a presentation “Revolutionizing Agricultural Insurance: The Power of Satellite Data in Decision Making”. Every crop and weather pattern affecting farmers’ livelihoods could be matched with the Planet Labs recent technology advances for risk prediction and mitigation, enabling effective instruments to safeguard the livelihoods of millions. Andre will unveil the transformative role of satellite data enhancing agricultural insurance.
Peter Navratil from GAF AG will present the company’s most recent advances in applying Earth Observation data to support the operation of agricultural insurers and reinsurers.
Agremo will contribute to the field demonstration of drone operations and specifics of using drones for various needs including crop management, field monitoring, risk assessment, and crop inspections.
Conference Agenda is being updated with new topics and speakers at the moment. The Call for Presentations is open until March 31, 2024. The presentation requests received earlier undergo the selection process.
2024 Conference Agenda will traditionally include a number of thematic blocks, a panel discussion on technical aspects of agricultural insurance and several social events. The cocktail reception at the end of the first day will extend communication to an informal setting of the Nacionalna Klasa restaurant on the bank of the Sava river in the heart of Belgrade. The Gala Dinner on the second day will take place on the territory of the Kalemegdan Castle. This venue will include a short guided tour for participants through the fortress, offering a delicious dinner with national food and drinks.
The Field Technology Day will be organized on the third day of the Conference outside of Belgrade. Participants will visit several local farms and discuss practical sides of technology use with farmers and service providers that will make their demonstrations. Transportation, national food and drinks will be provided in Frushka Gora to participants of the third day.
