India - Wild elephants wreak havoc on crops in Ainekidu, Ubaradka

Wild elephants raided farms in Ainekidu, Kadaba taluk, and Ubaradka, Mittur village on Friday night, causing significant damage to crops and infrastructure.

In Kadaba's Kedila village, the elephants invaded the farms of Yashas, Shanmukha, and Neelappa Gowda, destroying water pipes and damaging plantain and arecanut trees.

In Ubaradka Mittur village, the elephants ravaged coconut, arecanut, and plantain crops in the fields owned by P S Gangadhar and P S Keshava.

The wild elephant problem in these areas has been persisting intermittently for many days.
