Timac Agro Ukraine, in collaboration with the insurance company PZU, has launched a crop insurance program against drought for farmers in five regions of Ukraine. Farmers who purchase biostimulants or products from the InFolen line can take advantage of it. This was reported by the company’s press service.
At the core of the program is the soil moisture index, which is determined based on satellite data from the Copernicus system. If sensors detect a moisture deficit, compensation is automatically calculated – without the need to collect documents or prove losses manually. The insurance covers all agricultural crops.
The program’s geography includes the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
The insurance period is valid from July 1 to August 10, 2026, and applications must be submitted by June 10.
