India - Agri-Tech Innovation: Skylark Drones Launches Agricultural Drone Management Software

17.02.2025 424 views

The Indian agricultural sector is witnessing a surge in drone adoption, driven by government incentives and the rising demand for precision farming solutions.

Skylark Drones has launched DMO-AG, the spray management software for agricultural drones. The platform, unveiled at the Krishi Darshan Expo 2025 in Hisar, is designed to simplify and enhance agricultural drone operations, supporting farmers, drone operators, and agribusinesses in optimizing farm management.

The Indian agricultural sector is witnessing a surge in drone adoption, driven by government incentives and the rising demand for precision farming solutions. However, the industry has lacked a centralized, integrated platform to manage large-scale drone operations—a gap that DMO-AG aims to fill.

"DMO-AG will revolutionize how agricultural drones are managed in India. By providing real-time insights, automation, and revenue management, we are making precision farming more accessible and efficient. Our DGCA-compliant platform will benefit farmers, drone service providers, and agritech companies alike," said Mrinal Pai, Co-founder of Skylark Drones.

The software includes several groundbreaking features, such as:

  • Real-time drone fleet management

  • Automated crop health monitoring

  • Crop-specific spray recommendations

  • Intuitive multilingual interface

  • Compatibility with all major autopilot-enabled drone controllers

These capabilities are expected to boost productivity, reduce input costs, and improve agricultural sustainability across India.

"India’s agricultural drone market is forecasted to grow at a 25-30% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), crossing $1 billion by 2030. With strong government support and increasing adoption of precision farming, DMO-AG is positioned to be a driving force in this transformation," added Pai.

Skylark Drones has extensive experience in drone operations, having completed over 10 million autonomous drone flights and processed 100 million drone images for 120+ enterprise customers. Skylark Drones is supported by prominent investors, including Thakral Corporation, Infoedge Ventures, Advantedge Partners, Turbostart Global, IIM Udaipur Incubation, and Hunch Ventures.
