Just under €3 million was issued in various farm scheme payments last week by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).
The latest data, published by the department, shows that an additional €1.42 million was issued to farmers under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
It means that 117,742 farmers have now been paid a total of €832 million under these measures.
That total figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €33.8 million and the 2024 National Reserve of €2.7 million.

Last week, the department paid a further €430, 861 out for the 2025 Eco Scheme bringing the overall total to over €297 million to 115,651 farmers.
There was an additional €423,735 paid to farmers under the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3).
There has now been over 40,000 applications approved under TAMS 3, with 16,866 payment applications submitted.
DAFM confirmed that 13,418 payments have been made to farmers under TAMS 3 amounting to almost €121 million.
Last week's payments also saw €372,535 paid out for the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
There was €220,000 paid to farmers participating in the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES).
While almost €15,000 was issued under the Protein Aid Scheme.
