The Agency for Investments and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) announced that it has completed the payment of insurance subsidies (70% of the amount of insurance premiums) for 654 farmer applications received between February 1 and September 30, 2025. The total amount of subsidies to this category for last year amounted to LE 117.08 million.

AIPA rejected only five of the applications submitted by farmers for subsidizing insurance premiums, amounting to 0.03 million lei. Another two applications amounting to 0.02 million lei were suspended.

The remaining applications from 497 beneficiaries were positively decided. The assets of which sectors of Moldovan agriculture were insured in 2026.

Out of the above-mentioned total amount of applications for subsidies of this category, 177 (total amount of 72,88 million lei) were paid in the year of application, i.e. in 2025.
