Twenty-nine local farmers in Barangay Bugo recently received direct access to government agricultural support following a registration drive brought straight to their neighborhood on July 31, 2026.
Organized by the Office of the City Agriculturist, the mobile caravan allowed local growers to sign up, update, and verify their records under the national registry for agricultural workers—saving them a trip to city hall.
Keeping these official records up to date ensures small-scale farmers can easily access essential government aid, including free seeds, fertilizer, farm supplies, crop insurance, and livelihood grants.
City agriculture officials noted that they will continue bringing these registration drives directly to more barangays across Cagayan de Oro so every farming family gets the backing they need to stay productive.
