Tajikistan's plans to expand hydroponic greenhouses for livestock feed

In Tajikistan, there are plans to increase the number of hydroponic greenhouses, announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan.

 

The hydroponic greenhouses, which will be used to grow green fodder, play a crucial role in providing livestock with necessary feed throughout the year. The Ministry noted that such greenhouses allow for the cultivation of fodder by maintaining a special temperature range of 15-17°C, which promotes rapid grain growth.

 

The advantage of hydroponics is that from 1 kg of grain, up to 6 kg of green fodder can be produced within a week, and the process does not require fertilizers or chemicals, making the product environmentally friendly. This contributes to both enhancing food security and improving the quality of feed for livestock.
