The 'Enograi' enterprise, specializing in fruit cultivation, suffered significant losses due to the occupation of the Kherson region. Preliminary calculations indicate damages caused by the Russians exceed 100 million hryvnias (approximately 2,4 million euros).

Ivan Tauzhnyansky, the director of the company, reported that the occupiers' positions and firing points resided on the enterprise's territory from March to November 2022.

A substantial portion of the orchards was damaged by military-tracked vehicles, but most of the trees suffered due to a lack of proper care, including treatment, pruning, watering, and fertilization. Many trees were destroyed by shelling. Refrigeration equipment was damaged by projectiles.

The orchard area, which was approximately 400 hectares before the war, has now been reduced to 165 hectares. The cultivation included peaches, cherries, plums, apricots, apples, and cornel cherries.

The damages caused by the Russian occupation have had a severe impact on the enterprise's productivity and financial stability. Despite the challenges, the enterprise is continuing to grow everything that it cultivated before the war, but in reduced quantities.
