A loss-free harvest campaign and the preservation of the crop are the top priorities not only for the agricultural sector but for all government bodies, Konstantin Burak, Belarus Presidential Aide - Inspector for Grodno Oblast, said during an inspection of the Protasovshchina agricultural enterprise on 23 July, BelTA has learned.

“During the video conference on the 2026 harvest campaign, the president emphasized the exceptional importance of the rapidly advancing harvest campaign for the economy. In the context of ensuring food security and boosting the country’s export potential, a loss-free harvest and crop preservation are the primary tasks not only for the agricultural sector but for all government bodies. The president has given comprehensive instructions in this regard,” said Konstantin Burak.

The Belarus presidential aide - inspector for Grodno Oblast stressed that now it is necessary to ensure their precise and timely implementation. To this end, together with the governor, oversight is carried out directly in the fields.

“The state has allocated enormous material resources for the harvest. The key now is to ensure their efficient and rational use, as well as the concentration of people, regardless of their positions, on fulfilling the assigned tasks,” he said.

“In this regard, a brief observation - there is a certain phenomenon (I will not refer to specific names or facts; those whom it concerns will recognize themselves): instead of diligently fulfilling the assigned task, certain officials, naturally believing themselves to be the most intelligent and experienced, engage in deliberations about why this is necessary, why precisely within these timeframes, and the like. I want to caution immediately: there is no place for such ‘cleverness’, and effective remedies for this affliction have been prepared,” Konstantin Burak concluded.
