A team of 40 farmers of Adilabad district met the collector Sikta Patnaik on Tuesday and sought a survey to assess crop damage in their agricultural fields.

The farmers said the agriculture department submitted a report to the high court that standing crops like cotton, soya, mirchi, black gram and red gram were badly damaged in 1.4 lakh acres of 26,783 farmers in the district.
