Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister JP Dalal said girdawari work was being done on a large scale to assess the crop loss due to weather vagaries. The government is with the farmers and every possible help will be given to compensate for the loss, he said.

The minister was the chief guest at the three-day annual festival of Ashram Hari Mandir Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Pataudi, where he addressed the gathering on Saturday night.

“Public works are being done continuously under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Manohar Lal in Haryana. With complete transparency in the government policies being made with the spirit of Antyodaya, the person in the last row of society was also being linked to the mainstream of development. It is the result of our service that the BJP has become the world’s largest party,” he said.

Dalal also announced Rs 21 lakh for Ashram Hari Mandir.

Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dharmadev, Pataudi MLA Satya Prakash Jaravata, Barkhal MLA Seema Trikha, Thanesar MLA Subhash Sudha, SDM Sanjeev Singla, Animal Husbandry Deputy Director Punita Gehlawat, Tehsildar Rita Grover, Naib Tehsildar Surjit Singh and BJP leader Naveen Goyal were those present.
