Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the State Government stands with every citizen affected by the disaster and is working to provide relief with a humanitarian approach. He said that the government is committed to ensure minimum casualties and maximum relief in any kind of disaster.

Gehlot addressed the 23rd meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority Held at CMO on Friday and said, “Various areas in Raj have faced flood like situation due to excessive rains but due to proper management, there was no loss of life.” “In the last few days, out of 1.5 lakh claims of crop failure due to excessive rain, 40 have been surveyed. After completing the survey of the remaining claims, the process compensation will be started. 1.17 lakh mustard seed minikits will be distributed to farmers,” Gehlot said.

Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena said that State Govt is working to provide assistance to flood-hit areas.

Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria said that the State government is doing the work of providing DAP in sufficient quantity to the farmers.
