The EU has set clear goals for more competitive and sustainable agriculture under the Green Deal, requiring data-driven decision making for farmers, governments, and policymakers. However, there is a significant gap in local-level reference data. Agricultural sensors capture valuable information about crops and environmental conditions, but their potential remains underutilized. ScaleAgData aims to bridge this gap by integrating sensor data with other sources, such as satellite observations, to enhance regional agri-environmental monitoring. This requires new approaches to data governance and ownership, ensuring benefits for all stakeholders, especially farmers. By upscaling and sharing this data, ScaleAgData aims to reduce technology gaps and support innovation in sensor technology, edge computing, data analytics, Earth Observation (EO) products and better-informed decision-making in agriculture.

We look forward to having you attend the event!
